IELTS

About IELTS:

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System; it is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council & IDP Education. There are two types of test Academic Module & General Module.

Academic Module: This test is mandatory for all students who aspire to go to Canada, Australia & New Zealand etc. for further study.

General Module: this test is mandatory for all individuals who want to apply for     Immigration to Canada, Australia & New Zealand

The Course Content:

IELTS is a four module test which includes Reading, Writing, and Listening & Speaking. The first three modules Listening, Reading & Writing must be completed in one day. The speaking module may be taken, at earlier day or second day of the exam. Candidates receive scores on a band scale from 1 to 9. The test result is valid for 2 years. Candidates can repeat the test without any restrictions on the number of appearances.

The Test Fee:

The test fee is Rs.7200\-respectively as applied from 1st January 2007.
