Student Visa Information
For applicant’s who require a visa to enter Singapore, please ensure that your application for the student pass is submitted to the ICA at least 2 months before the Commencement Date.

Basic Requirement (Documents)
For pursuing in approved full-time course
- A local sponsor is required for the application for student’s pass. Local sponsor must be a Singapore citizen/Singapore PR above age of 21.
- Student’s pass application must be submitted at least 2 months in advance and not more than six months.
- The normal processing time is about 4 weeks.
- 2 copies of form16, R395, 36
- 2 recent passport sized photographs
- Official birth certificate
- Applicant’s highest education certificates and result transcripts
- Personal Particular Pages of applicant’s travel documents
- 1 copy of form V36A
- Local sponsor’s identity card
- Renewal of the student’s pass required to the students who want to continue the same course in the same school.
- Change of School/Course of study
- The rules apply to students who are applying for a new student’s pass to take-up a different course or study in a different school.
- A security may be required from local sponsor upon approval of student pass application.
Indian Students:-S$5000 in form of a Banker’s guarantee for any established banks in Singapore or casher’s order.
Exemption from the Security deposit required may be granted to:
- Foreign students who study in kindergarten registered with Ministry of
Education/Childcare centers licensed by MCYS.
- Foreign students who attend a full-time course at an approved private education.
Organization i.e. awarded Singapore Quality Class for private education Organization
Or SQC (PEO), by Spring Singapore
- Foreign students who pursue a full-time university degree (Graduate/Post-Graduate)
Programme at an approved private educational organization.
