You may well ask yourself as a student, what can Switzerland offer me? Well, there are many advantages of studying in Switzerland. The high quality of education is relatively accessible & a large percentage of the student populations are foreign students. Switzerland offers a broad choice to students at the level of Higher or Tertiary education. Currently Switzerland has 12 recognized traditional universities. (10 Cantonal Universities & 2 Federal Institutes of Technology), 8 Universities of Applied Sciences, 15 Universities of Teacher Education, & further University-Level Institutions supported by the Confederation. Language of Instruction German French Bilingual Italian Speaking Autumn & Spring Semester Bachelors Degree (180 ECTS Credits or 3 years of full time study) Masters Degree (90-120 ECTS Credits/1.5 years of full time study Before leaving for Switzerland, you must complete certain important formalities which you should begin as soon as you receive confirmation that you have been accepted by a Swiss University.
